(Biography)
Born April 16, 1973

I am Benito Cordova also known as Sweet Daddy BC which is my musical artist name and I am an
Evangelist, Christian Contemporary Artist, and I attend Victory Faith Church in Espanola, New
Mexico. I am a Christian Contemporary Artist used by God to reach a lost and dying world. All I
want to do is touch people through the Holy Spirit that is my comforter and guide in making this
music. May God receive all the glory and honor in every song I’ve recorded in my six albums. I want
my music to touch people’s lives with every song and that they will come to know Jesus Christ as
your Lord and personal savior. I grew up in the church that my grandfather Eluid Cordova pastored
in Velarde, New Mexico and I remember singing to God at the age of 3. My mother and father,
Rose & Ernesto Cordova would take me to church and I always wanted to minister in song to the
Lord Jesus Christ. I gave my life completely on November 1, 1996 and God placed me to do Music
Ministry in an Assembly of God Church in Hernandez, New Mexico. I also became the youth pastor
until 1999 when I felt God’s call in my life to accept a Music Pastor/Director position with The Good
Shepherd/El Buen Pastor Assemblies of God Church in Espanola, New Mexico. I led the two bands
and choir of this church for over 11 years. Today I am an ordained assistant Pastor at Victory Faith
Church and lead praise and worship weekly at Victory Faith Church in Espanola, New Mexico and
travel throughout the USA to do my music and give the love of Jesus Christ to the world. I recently
received my Doctorate of Divinity from International Progressive Ministries and Oral Roberts
University. I am an Anatomy & Physiology and Biology instructor at Espanola Valley High School.
I am happily married to my best friend and beautiful wife Gloria Cordova who is involved with
me in ministry and loves God with all her heart. We have three children my oldest son Diego who is
20, my daughter Kalani who is 12, and son Elija who is 9. We enjoy as a family in going to church,
listening and singing praise and worship music, and having family time. We also enjoy reading the
bible as a family on a weekly basis. We are a family who love God and enjoy spending time with
each other as a family. I devote my time daily to prayer, bible devotionals, and worship on a daily
basis because we love to commune and have a deep relationship with Jesus Christ. I also love to
write praise and worship songs inspired by the Holy Spirit and have recorded some of the songs in a
studio setting. I have accomplished six professionally recorded CD’s called Come Back To The Lord,
Show Us Your Glory, Chosen For Today, and Praise Him Through Your Circumstance, We Have This
Hope, Perdoname Cristo (Please Forgive Me) and my latest album “A Man After God’s Own Heart”
produced by Benito Cordova and Steve Chavez at Randel Records. I am a 10 time nominee of the
New Mexico Hispano Music Awards and 2 time winner. I have been featured many times on
Channel 11 KCHF with Ted Gonzales on God Answer’s Prayer and Channel 32 Alpha and Omega
Productions in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I enjoy worshiping God and fulfilling His call for my life.
